There is no class in Seminary for that…
When you read the statistics, that 50% of all marriages end in divorce, and it is no different for ministry couples you have to think – oh boy! We are in trouble. We are likely to become just another statistic. Seems like we fight over something every weekend – especially on Sundays, just before Church. I want to be part of the solution to this international problem.
Hi, my name is Dr. Linda Lightbourne. I have been a minister’s wife for forty years. We have served in the United Kingdom, the United States, and presently, we are serving in the Bahamas. An interesting fact that I have noticed is that there are some things that are unique to the many places and countries where we have served, but most things that we have gone through as a ministry couple are global, international, and spiritual, yet undocumented and silenced. The kind of spirit that I am talking about is the spirit that does not want to see the Kingdom of God expand to the extent it has expanded. If this spirit can, it will do whatever necessary to distract, discourage and dissuade us as servants of the most high God right in our homes, then its job is complete.
